Review of NDT Procedure & Interpretation reports as per ASME codes and client requirements.  Review WPS, PQR and ensuring whether qualified welders are being allotted for specified jobs.  Responsible for job status monitoring, raw material inspection, fabrication inspection, machining inspection, preparing corresponding reports.  Supervise and manage multi-discipline inspection team to ensure that all verification, inspection and release activities are carried out in a timely manner as per approved Quality Controls Plans, procedures, standards and specifications  Promote a positive quality culture during the project phases  Supervise a multi-discipline inspection team  Attend pre-inspection planning meetings / progress meetings  Be familiar with the Work pack requirements, Inspection Test Plans, relevant specifications and drawings  Prepare and submit weekly inspection status reports  Raise Non-Conformance reports (NCR’s) and expedite their close-out  Monitor package / equipment compliance to statutory regulations  Monitor, expedite & report on a regular basis the status of inspections and the completion status of ITRs  Report promptly to the Quality Control Coordinator / Quality Manager all matters related to inspections & tests  Provide feedback on Vendor / Subcontractor performance upon request  Ensure that all necessary quality records are identified and retained in accordance with, client and regulatory requirements  Participate (as necessary) in management site visit / audits as requested.  Hydro testing and Pneumatic testing witness.  Check as-built inspection and write punch points.  To check all supports like hanging, spring support, Guiding, sliding, and fixed type. Un-pin the support at cold load and witness.  To check material and joints specification with PMI device.  To check flange alignment for equipment connections.  Golden weld monitoring and preparing its application & log sheet for Client approval.  Welding of dissimilar material with Buttering layer.  Thermo-weld with Buttering, after buttering PWHT if required.  Witness during Bolt tightening and making its protocol.  Qualifying welders and making its report.  Witness welder qualification and mechanical testing of coupons.  Verifying welding consumable and review of test certificates as per the project / WPS requirement.  Inspection of purchased raw material (Dimensional & NDT as well Destructive Test if necessary).  Reviewing drawings for latest revisions and hold points.  Verifying calibrations of the equipment is used in inspection.  Inspection after Fit-up followed by fabrication.  Inspection of production welds as per drawing requirement and applicable standards.  Inspection of Machined parts if any followed by any NDT mentioned in QAP / Drawing.  Check visual inspection of weld joints.  Check the alignment of equipment and piping.  Check the Holding Works like Strainers, Ring gaskets  Check critical pipe supports, pipe shoe.  Reviewing raw material MTCs.  Receiving the raw material and checking hardness.  Calibration of all Non Destructive Testing equipment’s.  Performing Brinell hardness Test.  Maintaining inspection records.  Conduct inspection before, during and after welding.  Monitoring Ultrasonic Test & RT film interpretation.  Verification and witness of non-destructive tests.  Interpreting drawing and specification of materials and welding requirements.  To review the material certificate chemical composition and the physical properties.  Review of daily welding and ndt reports.  Check fit up, groove angle, type of groove, root gap and cleanliness of joint.  Check condition of welding equipment, current, voltage and polarity.  Supervise and witnessing the welder qualification test as per welding standard procedures.  Conduct inspection of all materials being used for welding activities, Prepare and submit quality report.  Dimensional check of weld and preparation of stage inspection report.  Perform welding inspection to ensure that all welding activities are properly executed.  Check welding procedure (Essential and Non Essential variables) and individual welder qualification.  Procedure Qualification, Welder Qualification.  Witness for all testing activities with the client and third party and to get the final documentation After testing approved by them.  Visual and Dimensional Inspection, Hydro test Reports and Final clearance.  Witnessing the punch killing activities.  Witnessing Bolt torqueing / Tensioning as per approved ITP.  To ensure only the latest procedures, ITPs and any other applicable and relevant to all quality documents being issued and used by construction teams.  Witnessing the reinstatement activities.  Regular coordination with construction team for specification requirements, fabrication, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) and correlate the inspection activities as required throughout the construction period.
